I liked my first set of locs so much that I wanted more 🤎✨
that set really made me fall in love with my natural hair fr 🫶🏽

Now, they won’t lying when they said the loc journey ain’t for the weak. Figuring out what works best for you when it comes to sizing, grid pattern, and density — I personally have a combination of 4a, 4b, & 3c and it drives me crazy 🤯

After a 3-day takedown of my 1st set of locs I decided to go even fuller this time to match how thick and curly my hair is!

I went to for my 2nd set of micro loc install and now I’m over 400+ locs in. I’m OBSESSED with the instant fullness 😍🔥

Trusting the process heavy 🌱✨

I already know retie days about to test me 😩😂…
but I love my hair and me enough to sit through it every time 🤎

I’m someone who loves creating systems, like naturally obsessed with the kind of positive momentum good systems in place can bring and the changes it can make in someone’s life (call it a God complex, self absorbed, nerd, or simply being made in my Fathers image, but I think it’s still so cool and now I see why He made the human ‘race’ - a system that can run itself on your supreme standard and then you get to watch your own work… work 🤯) It’s pure genius, sweet, the core epitome of self love, and some of the best entertainment — So, I’ve been thinking about ways to support my students beyond the classroom…📚

This week I’m soft launching “Miss Lewis’ Reading Club folders” for home practice 📂✨

The kids have been asking for it nonstop since I told them — and I’m excited to see who actually follows through 💙

🔄 The sunlight on this staircase is probably my new favorite spot in this school — had to hit a few poses❣️😩🤭😆☀️

Changed locations, but the mission is still the same — “Reach one, Teach one”❣️

I’m actually super excited to work with a higher population of Hispanic children to learn & use more Spanish on a daily basis — this challenge is probably just what I needed to keep expanding myself as a person, auntie, and educator❣️

If you had told me five years ago that at 33 years old (in my Jesus era, aye!) I’d be teaching children how to read—a struggle I personally overcame in elementary school by learning to read the Bible on my own with God’s spirit—I wouldn’t have believed you 🥳

Cheers to good change and perfect life alignment with the Alpha and Omega — THE TRUE & LIVING GOD 🥂

Let’s be real: Western society has shaped and molded the fitness industry to profit off insecurity. When you internalize those pressures, it does more harm than good on your health journey. Optimal fitness is more psychological than physical.
