The real question is, when someone like Shashi Tharoor says ‘Narendra Modi should be praised for doing right things’ that too at a time when the congress leaders are accused of being sympathetic or at least not apethetic with 'sangh politics’, what would be its natural implications (both intended and unintended) ???

Would it not be an indirect endorsement of "Modi’s work”, or at least a message that There are something of "Modi’s work” which should be appreciated whatsoever???

Now the simple Question is, is it the right time to research the “good works” modi did in order to make the criticism constructive as some one would want it to be??

In the early years too, INC leaders (Moderates to be specific) were accused of being so cordial and friendly with British officials, forgetting the political price of that friendship, during the leisure time they enjoyed apart from their opposition to British as an 'Academic Exercise and Professional Obligation' !!
