Great start to our Sunday! Church, matching outfits, repping Papi’s team, and now we’re sending the little man off to Grandmami’s and Grandpapi’s house, so that we can enjoy the game and have a much needed day date! 🏈

Two years ago, we welcomed our little one, and in what feels like a blink, he’s grown into the sweetest, loudest, most fearless and smart little boy. The days may feel long at times, but the years have flown by. To our sweet Yunen, thank you for teaching us unimaginable love, endless gratitude, and most importantly patience. You’ve changed our lives in the best way, and we wouldn’t trade you for the world. With love, Mama & Papi ❤️

I will never forget our first night at the hospital alone, you said “how do you swaddle a baby?” And I looked at you and said I got it and then you were like “no, I want to learn” and that pretty much sums up the type of Dad you are, from the moment you found out about Yunen, you’ve been all in. Diapers never scared you, and you learned how to bag up my breast milk like a pro just to make sure our baby was fed.

You’ve stayed up through countless late nights so I could rest, even after working your 12-hour shifts because I too “deserved a break” youve been my rock and now you’re Yunen’s best friend.

Thank you for showing up, for learning, for giving your best every single day. Fatherhood isn’t always easy, but you make it look effortless. Yunen and I love you endlessly and appreciate everything you do. 🫶🏽

I downplay a lot of my accomplishments, but this one deserves to be recognized. I obtained my associate’s degree with honors and at the same time ended my first semester at a four-year university with a 4.0 GPA—all while having a crazy toddler running around or right at my hips.
If it weren’t for the support of my husband, my son, and my family, none of this would’ve been possible. This moment isn’t just mine it’s ours. 💛🎓
