“ When I didn't think our family vacation in Orlando could get any more memorable -- BAM! -- Felipe takes our family's photos and we are immediately reminded of all the beauty that is LoveJoyTogetherness. We had a family shoot in early August and boyyyyyyv it was hot and humid! Despite our discomfort, Felipe's calm and positive energy got us through it. It was a shoot of 17 people (more like kittens) and Felipe managed to wrangle us all together ever so efficiently with a constant smile on his face. His positivity is so infectious that we were constantly laughing which allowed us to be present with each other and enjoy the moment. He brought a portable speaker and had an amazing set list that kept us in good spirits. Not only that but Felipe sent a shareable link with all 178 photos in less than a week!! Sometimes, when life gets a bit too busy, I find myself gazing at this snapshot, and suddenly, I'm right back in that serene moment, feeling the breeze and soaking in the quiet magic of the world.

Isn't it fascinating how a photograph can transcend you in ways words can't explain? 2. Processional: 5:00 PM - 5:15 PM
As the music swells, your bridal party takes their graceful steps down the aisle, leading up to your moment in the spotlight. Every step is a heartbeat, every gaze a memory in the making.

3. Exchange of Vows: 5:15 PM - 5:30 PM
Here, under the open sky or within the walls of a sacred space, your promises are made. The exchange of vows is the heart of the ceremony - a moment where time seems to stand still, and it's just the two of you, pledging your forever.

After those "getting ready" shots, it's time to transition smoothly into the ceremony.

Sometime depending on the day, I suggest to my couples to do the portrait session before the ceremony. But it’s totally up to you if you want to do it before or after, but do it :) Right before the portrait session we can start the planning for the bridal session + groom session and the first look. Here is a suggestion:

Bride's session : 12 PM - 1 PM
It's time to step into your exquisite gown, surrounded by your cherished friends and family. This intimate moment overflows with anticipation and pure joy. The kind of joy that brings tears to your eyes and smiles to your heart. These heartfelt, beeeeeautiful moments are a treasure trove for candid shots that will encapsulate the depth of emotions felt during this unforgettable time.

Groom's Prep: 12 PM - 1 PM
To all the dapper grooms out there, this is your moment in the spotlight! From the careful knotting of ties to the precise buttoning of suits, this is your friends filled time to shine. This is the time where you share laughs, calm each other's nerves, and revel in the excitement of what's to come. And, of course, it's a golden opportunity for me to capture these genuine moments that showcase the bond you share with your closest companions.

First Look/Group Photos: 1:15 PM - 1:45 PM
A mixture of sweet anticipation and sheer elation fills the air. Whether you're sharing an intimate first look with your partner, or creating lasting memories with your energetic bridal party, this is when the magic happens. The look in your eyes when you see each other for the first time on your wedding day, the infectious laughter of your friends, and the genuine hugs shared among loved ones - these are the moments that breathe life into your story.

The wedding planning series continues, this week we will go over how to create a wedding timeline.

As a wedding photographer, a timeline is one of the most important things in a wedding day. If your wedding timeline is full of things to do and jam packed and rushed your photos will also be rushed.

You need to create time for quietness, and that is often when the magic happens. You will also enjoy your day more you plan less and set aside time to soak in the day.

Along this week I will divide the timeline planning into 4 posts. A well-planned timeline ensures that your day unfolds seamlessly, allowing you to savor every moment without a hitch. So, grab your notebooks, because over the next four posts, we're diving deep into how to create the ultimate wedding timeline that reflects your unique love story.

Starting with the enchanting "getting ready" phase. The schedule below is just an example of a suggested time.

Hair & Makeup: 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Kickstart your day by pampering yourself! Gather your friends and indulge in a relaxed morning of hair and makeup magic. Give yourselves ample time for touch-ups and a bit of pre-ceremony primping. In the meanwhile, your photographer will be doing the detail shots ( set a detail box ready to give to your photographer when he arrives) As you're sipping mimosas and sharing laughter, seize the opportunity to capture the little details. Your dress, shoes, jewelry, and those special heirlooms deserve their spotlight.

This past week has been an excited roller coaster ride of creativity as I dived into some commercial/ branding photography projects.

I don’t share these works here very often, but It's been an exhilarating journey of capturing unique stories and bringing brands to life. 😄

I’ve been working on that, some home projects, capturing moments with Beau, speaking of him… he is about to turn 6 months this Friday, we are very excited! 😄🎉
Introducing him to the world of solids has been quite the adventure – from those hilarious first reactions to the messy but oh-so-adorable moments lol.

And speaking of adventures, I've also been lucky enough to help my amazing wedding couples, ironing out timelines, tackling questions, and fine-tuning every detail to make their big day stress free, and mainly unforgettable.

I will be sharing some new tips this week of how to plan your wedding with some suggestions to help you making the wedding timeline, which is a big deal in my opinion, where you set how the day will look like. More on that on the next post.

G + S’ love story unfolded against the classic backdrop of The Alfond Inn at Rollins College, and I couldn't have asked for a better setting to document their intimate wedding day. 🎉😊

The day began with a heartfelt request from the couple to photograph their very intimate ceremony at their own home along with their close friends,and then it was off to the Alfond Inn.

There's something incredibly special about intimate weddings, where every moment is infused with authentic emotions and genuine connections. G + S, with their hearts full of love, shared emotional vows surrounded by their closest loved ones.

It was an absolute joy to capture these cherished moments that they will forever remember.

As they exchanged glances and promises, it was evident that their love knows no bounds. They laughed, they celebrated, and together we created timeless portraits that will resonate with their souls for years to come.
