Big news for time attack drivers across North America.

Global Time Attack and Time Attack TF are officially joining forces to grow time attack competition between the United States and Mexico.

This new partnership opens the door for drivers and teams to compete across the border, experience new tracks, and connect the time attack communities in both countries.

Through this collaboration, both organizations will work together on:

🏁 The Cross-Border Challenge
Drivers who compete in events from both series will receive special recognition and become eligible for cross-border awards.

📊 North American Points Challenge
Select results from GTA and Time Attack Mexico events may count toward a combined championship.

📋 Class Equivalency Guide
Making it easier for drivers to understand how their cars will be classified when competing internationally.

🛠 Safety & Rules Collaboration
Both series will consult on safety standards to help create compatibility between competitions.

✈️ Driver Travel Support
Helping teams navigate the logistics of racing internationally.

Time Attack TF hosts events at legendary venues like Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez in Mexico City and circuits in Monterrey, Nuevo León, while GTA continues to host time attack competitions across the United States.

This partnership is about one thing:
More opportunities for drivers. More competition. A stronger North American time attack community.

New Personal Best‼️The ASM S2000 had underwent refinements with B-Max Racing Team in a short time span and achieved a PB of 55.842 at TC2000. Despite having little time to acquaint himself with the car, Super GT driver Iori Kimura made the best of the Attack Tsukuba 2026 weekend.

Fastest GTR around Tsukuba Circuit - the Voltex/Sunoco R32 by Seyamax. During Attack Tsukuba 2026, driver Takanori Seyama managed a 53.275 - just a tenth off his fastest time around TC2000! Track conditions were not the most favorable that day.

The ES**RT EVO 9 is the Time Attack king of Tsukuba Circuit. ‘Fire’ Ando 安藤佳樹 brought the Evo out for display during Attack 2026, where it watched menacingly as rivals attempted to best its 49.897 record time. While this year’s Attack at TC2000 may not have seen that record fall, Feras Qartoumy (C6 Corvette) and Kunihiko Bando 坂東邦彦 (RSC300 Soarer) are keeping their spirits high. The current 2nd fastest Time Attacker at Tsukuba - Under Suzuki（アンダー鈴木）(Scorch/Advan S15), hasn’t been seen out in full force lately, but we hope to see his return one day as the upper rankings continue to heat up 🔥

Attack 2026 saw a controversial start with Twin-Turbo Corvette driver Feras Qartoumy and Kunihiko Bando (RSC300 Soarer) forced to retire early after surpassing new noise restrictions at Tsukuba Circuit (TC2000). Attack organizer has apologized to all the fans who were looking forward to seeing these two run and attempt to break the overall Time Attack record. Please note that these restrictions were implemented by the circuit after pressure from local residents and had been in place since December of 2025. Attack 2026 was overall a successful event despite this, and we look forward to the continued growth that the Japanese Time Attack scene has enjoyed over the years with even more international interest and spectators flocking the gates of Tsukuba.

OVERALL NA RECORD BROKEN‼️ 3-Rotor RE Amemiya achieved 54.329 during Attack event weekend at Tsukuba Circuit. Driver Natsuki Sakaguchi was delighted to run the car with the NA3 rotor peri used in Super GT. The NA class continues to push what’s possible in Time Attack. The previous best NA time was held by Yuki’s 4-rotor FD3S (54.516) ⏱

The iconic ASM/B-Max Racing Team Honda S2000! Just confirmed for Attack 2026, the NA S2000 is now supported by B-Max Racing. The event takes place February 14th at Tsukuba Circuit 🙌

RX-7 sets OVERALL NA RECORD‼️Tsukuba Circuit Naturally Aspirated best time is now 54.516 by Y'S PRODUCE (Yuki Kamakura) in the 4-Rotor FD3S at the most recent ズミーレーシングファミリー (Zummy Racing) event . The previous best overall NA time was held by Aslan Spirit EG6 Honda Civic, set back 2024 during Attack event. (54.916 is still fastest FF NA car) Footage shown is from our Time Attack News 2024 coverage of ATTACK.
