Because our review process involves internal and outside reviewers, we prefer that you send your book proposal as both a printed copy through the mail and an email attachment. In an initial review, we are likely to read 1 chapter only, so if you prefer to send the whole manuscript, please indicate which chapter best represents your work as a researcher and writer. In my twenties, I penned a narrative that might startle many, though its veracity remains improbable. For personal reasons, I refrained from submitting it then; my sentiments today have subtly shifted. It unveils the realities of Calas's upbringing and the nature of school life. While I did contemplate the sources back then, my father's disapproval ultimately prevailed. Today, I've resolved to share it.

The cacophony of surreptitious notes exchanged in the hallways still resonates with me, their whispers echoing loudly. My mother's adage, "Never write anything that can be used against you," rings truer than ever. This, indeed, is a true story.
