MAN UNDER INVESTIGATION FOR DEATH OF GRANDAUGHTER ARRESTED ON CHILD EXPLOITATION CHARGES.

51-year-old Dylan Ouellet was arrested by the Lamar County Sheriff's Office for alleged possession of child po*******hy, after a search warrant was issued on his residence. According to HPNM sources, who spoke off the record, Ouellet is currently under investigation for the death of his granddaughter, after she was left in a hot car and died.

It is unknown if the search warrant was in connection to his granddaughter's death investigation or part of a separate, independent investigation. Ouellet's bond was set at $100k for the po*******hy arrest. He has not been charged in the death of his grandaughter.

One arrested in November 16th Attempted Murder. (HPNM was on the scene.)

HPD Press Release:
Hattiesburg Police have arrested a suspect in connection to a shooting that occurred on Sunday, Nov. 16, 2025, in the 000 block of Wisteria Drive.

On Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2025, HPD arrested and charged Roosevelt Jamel Page, 21, of Ellisville, Miss., with one (1) count of Attempted Murder. Page has been booked into the Forrest County Jail.

The victim of the shooting, a 22-year-old male, remains in stable condition.

This is an active and ongoing investigation.

Public defender John Helmert violated multiple rules with improper service of subpoenas to HPNM. Helmert is representing accused murderer Bricen Rivers. The district attorney's office is seeking the death penalty.

Former USM President Dr. Rodney Bennett received a "No Confidence" vote related to his leadership, or lack thereof, as Chancellor of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. One shot in Sunday morning shooting at Piedmont Apartments. OFFICIAL: Hattiesburg Police are investigating a shooting that occurred on Sunday, November 16, 2025.

At approximately 11:15 a.m., officers responded to a report of a possible shooting in the 000 block of Wisteria. Upon arrival, officers located a 22-year-old male victim suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.

The victim was transported to a local hospital, where he is currently in stable condition.

At this time, the suspect(s) identity is unknown. The suspect was described as a Black male wearing a ski mask.
