The North Royalton Bears defeated Eastlake North 73-45 to win the district basketball championship game. Antonio Escano led the Bears with 20 points. The Bears, now at 23-1 on the season, play North Ridgeville on Tuesday night at the College of Wooster. GO BEARS!

The February 27 Royalton Recorder will be in your mailbox on Thursday, Here's a story on Shawn Nelson, who recently returned to North Royalton High School to be honored by the school following his induction into the Ohio Chapter of the National Wrestling Hall of Fame. Nelson was presented with the “Lifetime Service to Wrestling” award.
