The Ukrainian Festival is schedule for this Sunday. Go see the repaired building and have a great time.

Erie County, NY is proud to stand with the people of Ukraine against Russia's invasion, and we are proud to support the Dnipro Ukrainian Cultural Center on Genesee Street in Buffalo.

Since 1955, Dnipro has been the home of the local Ukrainian community, but the building needed significant work. That's why I joined Dnipro president Emil Bandriwsky today to celebrate the completion of $421,630 work on the building paid for with a County Cultural Grant.

The County's grant, administered by our Erie County Department of Environment and Planning, paid for a new children's room, commercial kitchen for it's banquet facility, and exterior masonry repairs.

The wonderful thing about Buffalo is that we're a magnet for creative, artistic minds! In October 2022, artist M.J. Myers created this beautiful interpretation in oil paints of our living landmark. Despite the high winds, he captured the splendor of the Central Terminal!
