ONE THING holds everyone back from making progress with their business: TIME.

We get caught up working IN our business (serving clients) and not ON our business (prospecting, growing, learning, improving service quality, developing new products.)

Listen, I'm the QUEEN of doing everything all at once. I've got a thriving national non-profit, my LMCTO Consulting Services business where we serve 6 - 10 active clients at once with our current team of 5-6 people. And I have the Virtual Work Mentoring online training programs I develop and mentor thru. Oh yeah..... there might be another book being written and there's ALWAYS a new freebie download or course I'm designing.

It's true we need to focus in to get stuff done but sometimes my creative mind needs space to move.

Here's a hot little secret for how I juggle all of this. If you do just ONE THING each day to move a project forward, you will have constant momentum and accomplish more than you ever thought possible.

ONE THING.

I've been working on this list of ""one thing a day"" for those who run a Virtual Professional / VA business (or want to). And I'm going to start sharing them out on social. Just one thing a day. When I made this list, it became clear to me that if someone did each of these things, just one per day, they'd be able to open / grow their online business in just a couple weeks.

You'd move the needle on progress and be SHOCKED when you look back at how easy it was.

Is this something you'd like to receive? By email? By text? What's your preference? Because when we do ONE THING A DAY, eventually we can do ALL-THE-THINGS.

{throwback story}

Just spent 3 full days exploring with my son who is a freshman at Arizona State, and lots of moments we just sat our phones aside and chatted about life. (So much life. Job opportunities. How to get connected to the ones you want. The possible outcomes of different paths of study. What work load is too much. Juggling relationships with school. What life is like back home for me and the kids. Lots of life to discuss.)
We also admired the amazing earth we live on. So much untouched beauty out there as we hiked for miles and miles. We intentionally wanted to do this... to unplug and look up from the screens for more than ordering our Starbucks.
Even though I’m a screen girl.... made for a time such as this I truly believe... and shared all the photos...and checked in on some pressing client work here and there. Or friends who know me best..... because sharing these memories with them is part of the fun..... I wasn’t jumping for my phone every second. It was an intentional choice.
We parted ways planning our next adventure.... possibly to Costa Rica where he has been selected for a 3 week study abroad program this May.
Who needs to plan ahead when you can follow your children to their next amazing adventure??
What do you do that makes you forget to check your phone? To not automatically grab for it when your text notification chimes?

We never ever ever use the full power of our minds and potential.

Your little mind may be telling you to stay put in a job that is meh.
Your big thinking says.... I have more important work to do in this world.
