• Del Norte played solid defense, but St. Bernard’s High was able to escape Mike Whalen Field Friday with a 16-0 varsity football win over the 4-3 Warriors. We asked Dudley the English Bulldog and volunteer mascot for CASA of Del Norte, to help us pick a fury friend to highlight today. Dudley cares about children, and of course his furry friends that are lost, or in need of adoption
Stud Muffin alert!! Introducing Onyx…this guy is 🔥 🔥 🔥 in his purple rain coat. Male dogs are jealous of him & he loves all the girls. He is a bit of a man whore🫣.
He is wickedly smart & rocked his assessment with James Worley. He enjoys playing fetch, zoomies in the corral and hitting on the ladies with a creepy, heavy breather/growly voice and showing off that extremely long tongue 👅. When that doesn’t work he resorts to a devilish smile:) He uses his paw to get attention or what he wants. Onyx is still puppy like in his play style and can jump straight up like Tigger. He had a soft, shiny, sleek coat and the best silver shade. He enjoys a good nap in the sun and a nice walk. He keeps his kennel clean and is looking for his person.

Undefeated St. Bernard’s High of Eureka comes to Mike Whalen Field tonight to take on 4-2 Del Norte in football action. Kickoff is slated for 7:30 p.m. Listen to the Warrior Pregame Show at 7:15 on KPOD FM and delnortesports.com. Also, the Del Norte wrestling program will be manning the snack shack, serving up, among other things, the world famous “comfort cups.”
