Amateur Radio enthusiasts started this station broadcasting ham radio news and moldy oldie music from the 50's - 60's - 70's that you haven't heard in years! Due to the low power status authorized by the FCC, KQRZ operates with 10 watts of power and coverage is limited to Portland's West Side (Beaverton, Hillsboro only) before our signal gets overtaken by other full power co-channel stations.
