Designing a kitchen for two cooks? Here's how to get it right ✅
1. Measure your working aisle: Start by checking the space between your counters.
2. Avoid cramped layouts: A 42" (107 cm) aisle might seem okay, but it's too tight for two people to move freely.
3. Aim for comfort: Increase the aisle to at least 48" (122 cm). This gives both cooks enough room to prep, cook, and clean without bumping into each other.
4. Test the flow: Walk through the space and simulate cooking tasks to ensure smooth movement.
5. Build with intention: Whether you're remodeling or designing from scratch, prioritize functionality over aesthetics alone.
