😂 DJ Chronicles: When the Groom Took Over the Mic 😂🎧
So, I was DJing this awesome wedding last weekend—everything was going smooth. The dance floor was packed, the drinks were flowing, and everyone was having a blast. Then… the groom, feeling very confident after a few cocktails, grabs the mic.
I’m thinking, “Oh, he’s about to give a heartfelt speech or thank his guests.” Nope. He looks around, takes a deep breath, and yells:
“LADIES AND GENTLEMEN… I AM NOW THE DJ!!!”
Before I could react, he starts beatboxing badly and demanding I play songs like it’s a personal karaoke night. The bride? Laughing but also giving him the look. You know the one.
After a few minutes of DJ Groom's Greatest Hits (including an impressive attempt at rapping “Lose Yourself”), he hands the mic back, bows like he just won a Grammy, and goes straight back to the dance floor.
Moral of the story? Weddings are wild, and I might start charging extra for “Guest DJ Takeovers.” 🤣
