A DICTATORSHIP IS IN THE OFFING IN AMERICA:- Driving the news: The jarring scene of Padilla, a Democrat, being forcefully removed from Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem's press conference after interrupting it — and then being dragged to the ground and handcuffed — felt like kerosene on the nation's political fire.

To Trump's most loyal allies, Padilla's actions were merely an exercise in political theater. Back in D.C., House Speaker Mike Johnson was among the Republicans blaming Padilla, saying that "at a minimum," the senator should be censured.
To Democrats, the episode crystallized fears about Trump's willingness to crush dissent and shatter democratic norms and institutions.

"This is the stuff of dictatorships. It is actually happening," said Sen. Brian Schatz (D-Hawaii).
A few Republicans were just as alarmed. Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska), who's repeatedly proved her independent streak, told reporters the incident was "shocking at every level. It's not the America I know."
Padilla wasn't arrested, but the fallout from the incident promises to endure as Congress continues to wrestle with Trump's giant tax and spending bill.

May his resurrection be an illumination of Hope and confidence in hearts as Christians and followers of Jesus Christ. That, no doubt we shall have overcome any difficulties or challenges in our fight for truth and Justice for all.

RIGGING FROM ITS INCEPTION:- National Resistance Movement defeated its very purpose for militarily challenging the status quo in the 1986, by participating into the most dangerous art of election fraud and violence. They have over a period of time created a well known phenomenon for vote rigging. If you asked me what I asked a decent person what definition befits NRM, one would easily refer to the organization as a well established election rigging enterprise with no shame to their game.

Seeing Mzee wa. Kazi Yoweri Kaguta Museveni stating such nonsense regarding vote rigging, like vote stuffing make one wonder how he repeatedly gets elected without vote stuffing?

The Oscars paid tribute to "our favorite spy," James Bond, first showing a short reel of iconic moments from Bonds throughout the years, from Sean Connery to Daniel Craig.

DOJA CAT & THE WHITE LOTUS: - Margaret Qualley honored the iconic "Bond Girl" archetype, wearing a flowing red gown for a dance number for which she was backed by people wearing tuxedos.

Other red-clad dancers then appeared as Lisa took the stage. The former Blackpink member and current cast member of The White Lotus sang the Bond movie theme "Live and Let Die."

Doja Cat then took the stage to sing "Diamonds Are Forever" in a sparkly, stringy gown, followed by Raye in a black-and-white gown, who sang "Skyfall."
