4 years ago in the month of February, I posted these photos and captioned it, “Nothing wrong with a grown man booking a photoshoot with him and his beer.” During this time, Covid was occurring and the world was in a lot of turmoil.
This concept was brought to me by my buddy and friend Carlos. Who during this time was working for a local brewery and needed help with a promotion for the beer. Carlos got this concept from seeing a meme of James Littrell that went viral on social media. Carlos was quoted stating;
“I seen his photos that were turned into a meme and they inspired me to do what I did. Going through the comments on different news outlets I came to find that James was actually a local and lived a few blocks down from our location. Unfortunately James is no longer with us but I hope I made him proud and he’s laughing his ass off.”
These photos when viral with people laughing and sharing my photos over and over. 😆 Within a couple of days. I was interviewed by about these photos. And the story was shared even in other states. As photographer, I think sometimes you do want to get recognized for the hard work you put in and show. But never in the back of my mind would I have ever thought I would get recognized for capturing the most funniest photos in my life. 🤣
Though the brewery no longer exist, I thank them and Carlos for allowing me to capture these. And Also to Jason, who was the first to make everyone laugh with his blossom photos meme.
