• We use timed prompts (completing 1–3 per meeting) to build creative momentum.
• The atmosphere is relaxed, informal, and non-judgmental, perfect for all skill levels and genres (prose or poetry).
• In-person participants are offered the chance to read first if time permits. There is no obligation to read.
• Our goal is to help you quiet your inner critic and let your thoughts flow.

Our upcoming paranormal objects themed anthology set in the mystical and strange fictional town of Mournwood, West Virginia, has not yet received enough submissions to move forward.

Sending a huge thanks to Clarksburg-Harrison Public Library for hosting us yesterday and to those in attendance. We hope you took away some value in the workshop. Keep writing!

Lewis and Upshur Counties are experiencing a devastating flood. Lives, homes, property... all at risk or already damaged/destroyed.

These counties are where Appalachia Spark LLC operates. We are safe. But many others are struggling. Please keep my communities in your prayers and thoughts.

We are Appalachian strong. And we will all need to come together to provide help and support.

We hope you are safe! And if you are, please tell us your stories.
