We continue to monitor a winter storm that will impact the area this weekend. Details in amounts and timing of precipitation types remains uncertain, but confidence is high in there being at least minor impacts from freezing rain, sleet, and snow Sat afternoon through Sunday.

Each year, we feed approximately 300+ individuals/families during community meals and we couldn't do it without your help! We are so thankful for each and every one of you who have come together to make this meal possible.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

First, we would like to thank everyone for their assistance regarding the subject that fled from officers on 11/12/2024. That investigation is ongoing; however, we no longer believe this individual is in Carbondale and we do not believe there is any ongoing threat regarding this matter.

We would like to take this opportunity to offer some general safety reminders that we should all follow. While we live in a safe, close-knit community we should always be aware of potential safety concerns for our families, neighbors, and ourselves.

Working together we can keep Carbondale safe and ensure that would be criminals who come here are left with fruitless efforts and the full consequence of the law.

If you See Something, Say Something.
