Last night: Cardinals dropped a wild one—11–6 to the Reds at Busch Stadium. St. Louis lost multiple leads as both teams scored repeatedly late; Brendan Donovan and Iván Herrera each had two hits, but Tyler Stephenson’s three-run double in the ninth put the game away for Cincinnati.

Yesterday: Royals pounded the Phillies 10–3. Salvador Perez homered for the third time in two games and finished with five RBIs, Vinny Pasquantino doubled in a run, and Noah Cameron earned his eighth win.

🏈 Kansas City Chiefs
Yesterday: Chiefs dropped a hard-fought Super Bowl rematch, 20–17 to the Eagles at Arrowhead. Tyquan Thornton’s late 49-yard TD made it close, but a failed onside kick sealed KC’s 0–2 start for the first time since 2014. Patrick Mahomes threw for 237 yards and a score, but was intercepted once in the red zone, and the Eagles controlled the clock down the stretch.

📈 Market Recap
All three major U.S. indexes closed at or near record highs last week. Inflation rose a bit faster than expected but investors remain optimistic about a likely Federal Reserve interest rate cut in the next meeting. S&P 500 finished up 1.6% for the week; Nasdaq climbed 2.0%.
