Why Salespeople Need "Experiential" Training on the Products! Not just FABs! What's the difference? It's the kind of furniture presentation only seasoned salespeople can impart. A General in the Army really can't show someone how to win in the trenches, only a seasoned frontline combat veteran can! Take just a minute to learn the difference!
Any sales trainer can unzip cushions, and pull out draws to show "how it's made," and explain the good-better-best story. But only someone who has years of experience "presenting" to customers can teach the following! Exactly where you, and the customer should stand or sit, and "why." The exact tone of voice and body language you should exhibit, and "why." Plus, how to elicit the exact body language from customers that will result in a sale 80% of the time! And how to get the customer to assume "ownership" throughout the presentation. Plus, what salespeople routinely do that prevents a customer from assuming "ownership."
Of course, there are also future "usage" insights that should always be covered. Along with several "caveats" to keep them from making a major mistake. Then it should always be explained how a particular set should be cared for, easily repaired, and what things to avoid doing when using it. Then a real sales "pro" will actually "journey" with the customer, getting them to visualize it better in their home, while sharing some "amazing stories" from their previous customers.
A sales "veteran" will also employ a continuous, and ascending "touchpoint" experience, obtaining confirmations and verbal affirmations at each one. Then the salesperson will explain many important things to them about their room at home, such as "10" tips for furnishing large rooms, and the same for small rooms. and much, much, more!
