🎧 What’s up everyone — it’s DV8!
A lot of people ask me: “So, what kind of DJ are you?” The truth is, I’m not just one kind of DJ — I adapt to whatever the event and crowd need. That’s what has kept me growing, booked, and passionate about what I do.
I come from a professional/club mixing style, with scratching, smooth transitions, and the ability to read any crowd. Sometimes I’m on the mic hyping the room, other times I’m letting the music speak for itself. I don’t just press play — I create custom songs and mixes for people and events so the experience feels personal and unique.
I’ve had the chance to play just about everything:
• Club & Bar Residencies – Razoos on Bourbon, EndZone, Benigno’s, Mustang Sally’s
• School Dances/Proms – some of my favorite high-energy nights
• Raves & Outdoor Festivals
• Weddings, Birthdays, Reunions, Corporate Events
• Even my own promoted events
But at the end of the day, my favorite gigs are the ones where the crowd is hype, energetic, and locked in with me on the journey. That’s what fuels me.
🎶 What I Play
I’m open-format and can spin anything, but my heart beats hardest for a blend of House, Hip-Hop, and Drum & Bass. My mixing style is versatile — quick cuts, smooth blends, full tracks — whatever the moment calls for. I thrive on live mashups, clean transitions, and building sets that feel like they could be on the same level as any mainstream DJ.
