So when does the construction and repurposing of the old Hampton water tower begin? Hoping it looks like this when it is completed.

We’re not going to pretend this is ideal. Right now, Highway 50 is closed from both the east and the west as Phase 1 continues and Phase 2 gets underway. We expect the west side to open soon, but until then, the best ways to get to Dan’s are from the north and south

There are still several ways to get here, including a fully paved route from the east and multiple options from the west. Some routes do include gravel roads, so take a look at the directions before you head out.

Construction plans can change by the day, so we’ll be updating our website daily as needed. Please check before you make the trip!

And now for the really important part: PLEASE COME SEE US! We know the detours aren’t ideal, but we need to see your smiling faces while all of this is going on. Every burger, beer, dinner and visit means a lot to us right now.

We’re open. We’re ready for you. And yes, we’re still worth the drive.
