A great winery video should do more than make the bottle look beautiful. It should give people a reason to care about where it came from.

, that story begins in the high-elevation vineyards of the High Valley AVA, where volcanic soils, warm days, and cool nights shape every grape.

Our goal was to capture the people, place, and process behind a Cabernet that is 100% estate grown, produced, and bottled. Translating what makes Brassfield Cabernet unique into a condensed format so people can see it for themselves.

Visit Santa Rosa reached out to us with a challenge: capture the spirit of Santa Rosa in just 30 seconds.

The spot was created to reach travelers in cities with direct flights to Santa Rosa and give them a quick glimpse of what makes this place worth visiting.

With so much to choose from, narrowing it all down was no easy task. We’re incredibly thankful to the local businesses that welcomed us in and to the amazing team that helped bring the project to life.

We’re proud to call Santa Rosa home, and even prouder to help share it with people who haven’t experienced it yet.

A quick update from Brown Barn Films!

We’ve had a busy stretch of projects lately, so I decided to do something I generally avoid: get in front of the camera myself.

After years of asking clients to do it, I figured I should probably experience the same thing I put everyone else through.

Here’s a quick look at what we’ve been working on, some recent projects, and what’s been happening behind the scenes at Brown Barn Films.

Huge shoutout to Spencer Howson for helping bring some pretty wild ideas to life with VFX.

This shot was the key visual hook for our Visit Santa Rosa campaign, so getting it right was important.

We started by creating an AI-generated version of the concept to help communicate the idea and get approval. From there, we filmed the real thing and brought everything together with VFX in post.

We’ll be sharing the finished video soon. 👀

We created this film to celebrate 25 years of Family Tree Farms.

We had the pleasure of spending time with the family in Reedley, California, capturing the people, farms, and packing operations behind the business they’ve built over the past quarter century.

Our goal was to tell a compelling, concise story that could help buyers, customers, and fans of the brand better understand the family and values behind Family Tree Farms.

After spending time with them, it’s easy to see how faith, family, and a strong work ethic have helped shape the company and carry it forward for 25 years.

Thank you for trusting our team to capture such an important milestone.

We spent three days filming in Reedley, California, capturing the family, farms, and story behind the brand for their 25th anniversary vide.

I was originally introduced to Kindred Motorworks through my high school video teacher, Seth Friesen.

Seth was a wonderful teacher and mentor at El Molino High School. A few years after I graduated, he decided to pursue his passion for retrofitting classic cars with electric powertrains.

Fast forward several years, and he now leads the EV Development team at Kindred, helping bring vehicles like this incredible all-electric Bronco to life.

When it came time to capture a walkthrough of the Bronco, Seth brought in our team to help tell the story and showcase what makes the build so unique.

It was a full-circle moment getting to work with him again, this time as a client, and a lot of fun capturing such an awesome vehicle.
