We are excited that this short film that we produced, "Kinai ʻEha: (Extinguish Pain)" is now available on PBS Hawai‘i.

This film was produced in partnership with Kamehameha Schools, and many amazing individuals.

The Film “Kinai ‘Eha (Extinguish Pain)” is a documentary short film that follows the transformative journey of Jaben, a young man who was incarcerated and has been working his way through the lingering effects of childhood trauma.

Our film Vanishing Voices is airing tonight on KGMB at 6:30 pm. If you miss it, it will show on KHNL tomorrow Friday 8/23 at 6:30 pm and Saturday 8/24 on K5 at 8:30 pm. We are honored to have had the opportunity to create this film about the extinction crisis facing our native Hawaiian birds, and the work that is being done to save them. The story is captivating and emotional with a mix of testimonies from Hawaiian cultural experts, scientists, and community members who are rallying together to save our Hawaiian forest birds from extinction.

Exploring and developing art and animation styles was one of the first steps in producing animation for our film "Vanishing Voices: Saving Our Hawaiian Forest Birds". We produced the film with Birds, Not Mosquitoes and the support of many other individuals and organizations. The film will air for the first time on KGMB, on August 22 at 6:30 pm HST. If you miss it, there will be plenty more opportunities to see it, so stay tuned.
