If you don't have a sunset on your special day, our photographer Jenn (and we are sure a few others on our team) can possibly create one for you!

The majority of couples getting married wish for a beautiful sunset to incorporate into their photos. During Caitlin and Christian's wedding day, it rained periodically and was cloudy all day long. We knew they wanted sunset photos, but the weather was not going to cooperate. We were not going to let that stop us from creating a sunset though! Using a flash set up on a stand, Jenn positioned the light to create the sun and started photographing. The first two photos are the final edits of their "sunset". She removed the light stand, warmed up the image and added some clouds in the sky. The third photo shows the true lighting from their day. Jenn just had the flash right behind them instead!

Of course the sunset photos would look different for each wedding day. Whether the sunset is real or created, the venue needs a good area for these photos to be taken.

Their venue .hills Knotting Hills Wedding Venue & Resort at the lake side was the perfect spot to create this! If your wedding is coming up and the forecast shows clouds, and sunset photos are still important to you, contact us to see if this can happen!
