Comedian Matt Mathews has gone country.
The famed entertainer well known for sharing his "farm chores" in his bath robe on social media is now testing the waters with releasing his debut country album. The full length project is slated for release later this year, but he has already given his fans a taste of what's to come with the first two releases, "Joke's On Me" and "What a War."
While some may question why Matt is taking this new venture with his career, for him, it was simply in the cards all along. "My whole life, music has always been my passion," Matt tells Country Beat. "At a young age I sang, and music was always the thing I loved the most. I sang in talent shows in 4th and 5th grade. I went to singing competitions when I was a young kid. I've always loved music, but I never really pursued it, just because I didn't think that I was good enough."
Well thanks to his singing superstar friend, Jewel, she gave him the nudge he was needing to follow that journey.

Post Malone's planning on throwing a wild party in Nashville every night for the foreseeable future ... 'cause he's announced plans to open a massive entertainment space in the city!

The music superstar dropped the news Tuesday ... revealing he's partnered with premier hospitality brand TC Restaurant Group to open a 26K-square-foot venue in the city's Lower Broadway district.

This place ain't just a bar and big dancefloor, BTW ... when it's open it'll boast three stages, six bars, a full-service dining room -- and a rooftop area where patrons can enjoy the city view (and, hopefully, sit in the chairs instead of chucking them off).

Post says, "We’ve created a space where everyone can come together and kick some a**. Nashville has really become a second home for me, so I can’t wait to invite y’all over to my house."

It seems he's got a knowledgeable partner in TC ...

Christian country singer/songwriter Ben Fuller surprised the Opry audience by inviting Carrie Underwood to join him on stage for their first live performance together, singing their new duet "If It Was Up to Me." The track is featured on Fuller's forthcoming album Walk Through Fire, set for release on June 6 via Sony Music / Provident Entertainment. He also performed his single "If I Got Jesus" as part of an all-star lineup that included Underwood, Ricky Skaggs, Bill Anderson, Henry Cho, Don Schlitz, and 49 Wi******er. The special evening was part of the Grand Ole Opry's ongoing 100-year celebration.

Both songs are a part of the 13-track album, Walk Through Fire, which marks a milestone moment in Fuller's journey, both musically and spiritually. The record blends elements of rock, classical, and country, and represents Fuller at his most honest and unfiltered.

With one week remaining until the release of his full-length, fourth studio album, I'm The Problem, Morgan Wallen is offering fans one final taste of the upcoming project with the release of the highly-anticipated song dedicated to his son, “Superman,” available now. Listen here.

Wallen originally teased the up-tempo ballad, which he co-wrote alongside Ryan Vojtesak, John Byron, Blake Pendergrass and James Maddocks, on Instagram in February. The clip instantly drew excitement from fans, with Billboard praising its “self-aware lyrics.”

Wallen opened up about the song on Theo Von's This Past Weekend stating, “I've tried so many times to write a song like that for him, and it always fell flat. I also didn't want to write a song to him that was all sappy and slow, and just what you would expect a dad's son song to be. That song has been written plenty enough and I wanted it to keep a little bit of my sound and my swag and just to be honest.
