I took this photo of Marina Del Sur yesterday after an incredible Christmas day on the lake with family and friends. Had the lake to ourselves pretty much. What a beautiful day!

We always rent a slip at the Marina to park our pontoon boat when we come up to the lake and stay at Elephant Butte Lake State Park campgrounds.

The Marina is closed this week but you can call them for assistance.

White Sands National Park will be closed to all vehicle and foot traffic today Thursday, December 25th in observance of the Christmas holiday.

The park will reopen tomorrow Friday December 26th at 7:00 am and will operate under normal business hours for the rest of the holiday season including New Year's Eve and New Year's Day.

We here at White Sands National Park wish you and your family a happy and safe holiday!
