“I would much rather chase experiences than records, but sometimes you get both.”

Capt. John Ma**er of put first-time saltwater angler Denise Rogers on a beast of a green-backed devil, he told . “After a warm-up with a few bluefish, she hooked into a massive false albacore that tested our tackle, knots, and fish-fighting skills. It ended with this buffalo of an albie in hand, which could have easily set the women’s IGFA record on fly. Instead, we clicked a few pics, spiked the fish back into the water, and watched it blast off to fight another day.”
