John Ma**er of put first-time saltwater angler Denise Rogers on a beast of a green-backed devil, he told . “After a warm-up with a few bluefish, she hooked into a massive false albacore that tested our tackle, knots, and fish-fighting skills. It ended with this buffalo of an albie in hand, which could have easily set the women’s IGFA record on fly. Instead, we clicked a few pics, spiked the fish back into the water, and watched it blast off to fight another day.”

Still reeling from the thrill of this past weekend at the in Vero Beach, FL. was honored to be media sponsor of the event, which raised funding for, and kicked off, new Jack Crevalle tagging project. Farewell to the chief….
