this song was never to see the light of day. I honestly started this as a way to try Glenn John's micing technique on drums with R10 Ribbon mics. the 1 take of the drums to just the strings ripped from the original song, sounded so good, it inspired me to recorded heavy rhythm guitar tracks and bass. after sitting on that core recording for a while, I met Barrett who kindly offered to add lead guitar and heavy VOX remotely. once that was added into the mix, I knew the only thing missing was a great clean lead vocal track. Joey did not disappoint in that aspect.

I rarely, if at all, record myself, and when i do, it probably doesn't get released; but i am super pumped to put this out there.

no i did not name my daughter after this song, even though I may have been accused of doing so. She is named after a great family friend, whom was a saint of a lady, and a dear friend to the Harmon clan; but i do think of my carefree daughter when I hear this song. always have.
as a non-language person, I don't know how to end this, lol. i hope you enjoy our little rendition of a great classic. maybe we'll do a few more, as I am a huge Bettles fan.

well after a few weeks down, Matty B has the computer up and running. Also, for those interested, I'll be setting up sound for Baragefest next Thursday evening starting around 6pm. if you'd like to learn my approach to setting up and running live sound, this is your invite to come out and learn the ropes or get a refresher. i'll be coving speaker and mic placement, gain staging, as well as basic EQ and compression. please reach out to me if you are interest as i plan on having some basic cheat sheets available to hand out.

Well, with the computer down, and the work piling up, I'm deciding to not have the annual studio party this year. 5 years of studio parties, meant to spread awareness of the studio, has overly accomplished its goal and I'm extremely thankful to all the bands and all of the ppl that have participated in this endeavor and I'm sure we will do it again in the future.
