I remember the first time someone called me “Coach.” I was in the weight room at . It was my first day as a volunteer coach for the Buccaneer Football Team. I remember how it made me feel. I immediately understood the magnitude of that title.
That love and respect has only continued to grow over the years - whether I’m working as a mental skills coach for young athletes … facilitating group coaching … or just coaching my kiddos’ youth sports teams. I LOVE being a coach!
It’s an important role. One that I do not take lightly.
My client roster hit 25 this week, mostly young athletes who have committed to making their neutral mindset their super power.
I’m so grateful to for allowing to hang my coaching certificate along side their counselors, therapists and psychologists. It’s an amazing team!
Thanks to the businesses and organizations who bring me in to pour into their people, reinforcing the importance of self-care and self-love.
And I’m so grateful to the parents who give me the opportunity to work one-on-one with their kiddos. I appreciate their trust and buy in more than they’ll EVER know. I wanted to share one testimonial from one parent. This feedback is like gas on my fire.
“Coach Drew has been an amazing asset to my son’s development. His approach to mental coaching is truly transformative, and we are grateful for the positive influence he has had. These skills will follow Wyatt throughout this lifetime!”
