If my memory serves me well, I think this may have been the agent's first listing.
Creating a video wasn't initially a part of the plan.
There were a few other similar homes in the area for sale, so we used video to help get more eyes on this specific listing.
The end result? She ended up selling this home in like 3 days, or something like that.
Notice she only opened with a handful of words?.... here is why...
VIEWERS DON'T CARE WHO YOU ARE OR THE NAME OF YOUR BROKERAGE!!!
That may come off as a shock, but most viewers will fall into one of two buckets.
Bucket 1 - They already know who you are and about your brokerage, and they don't need a reminder.
Bucket 2 - They are new to your page/channel and are subconsciously thinking, "what's in it for me?" So at the moment they don't really care about who you are.
When a video opens with "Hi, my name is Steve Richardson and I'm a real estate agent with ABCDEFG Company..." most people have already swiped away! You literally have around 3 seconds to say or do something that captures people's attention. Otherwise you will lose most of them.
Here, the agent spoke briefly, and then we followed it up with some day to twilight video effects to visually keep people engaged, and then pulled them inside the home so they could take a look around.
Hopefully these tips helps someone, somewhere
And remember... photos and videos don't sell houses, great agents do
