WATCH: The sun is shining on The Club at Chatham Hills, which is hosting LIV Golf Indianapolis beginning Friday.

As of early August, tickets for LIV have been sold to people in 37 states and six countries for the three day event in Westfield.

This Sunday, Gerry Dick talks to Henke Development Group about the $2 million in upgrades to the Pete Dye-designed course and Mayor Scott Willis about the impact of having his city in the international spotlight. Willis also talks about millions of dollars that are being invested into the city's downtown and the impact of sports tourism.

Inc. ranks privately-owned companies based on their percentage of revenue growth over the previous three years.

Sixty Indiana-based companies are included in this year’s Inc. 5000 ranking. The publication ranks privately-owned companies based on their percentage of revenue growth over the previous three years.

NEW: Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton is accusing Eli Lilly and Co. of an kickback scheme to induce medical providers to prescribe the Indianapolis-based company’s drugs including blockbuster GLP-1 medications Mounjaro and Zepbound, according to a recent lawsuit.

The lawsuit named multiple other Lilly medications including Forteo, for osteoporosis, and Verzenio, a breast cancer treatment.

Hammond Mayor Tom McDermott on Monday signed an executive order declaring an immediate hiring freeze across all city departments.

The mayor said the move is in response to Senate Enrolled Act 1 passed in April by the Indiana General Assembly.

The city said preliminary estimates show Hammond could lose $8 million annually by 2028.

The Indiana University Kelley School of Business is preparing for its next business accelerator co-hort - and they're looking for small- to mid-sized companies to participate.

“[We] bring business school to business, and we serve a diversity of industries,” Kelley Clinical Professor of Business Economics Phil Powell said.

Enterprise Corps pairs Kelley staff with small- to mid-sized companies. Participants attend four courses from September through June.
