Come out to Wi******er Antique Mall, (121 2nd Ave N, Franklin TN), this Sat, November 2nd from 10 am - 5 pm. I will be singing and playing percussion with well-known Nashville artist, Leigh S Robbins for the Mingle Jingle event in downtown Franklin. It's a festive, early Christmas celebration with food, drink and music. You’ve heard Leigh Robbins’ magnificent songs and voice on countless TV shows and movies like “Guiding Light”, “As The World Turns”, "The Mask" (Jim Carrey), "Naked In New York" (Martin Scorsese), "Off And Running" (Cyndi Lauper/David Keith). Leigh has been a featured performer on shows like GAC (Great American Country), WSM Opry Star Spotlight with Matthew Gilliam, A Christmas Radio Special with Garth Brooks and other well-known artists. Come out and say hello.

We've been cutting tracks for Leigh S Robbins new CD, "Full Circle" with my old friends Jim Mayer Music, Peter Mayer and Roger Guth (The Corral Re**er Band) as well as, Pat Coil Music, Mike Severs, Danny Gottlieb (drummer for Pat Metheny) and the amazing group Take 6!!! Now is fun time when I get to play with all my toys adding some "ear candy" to the tracks. Next, flugelhorn and trumpet. This is the best part of the "music biz"...the music!!

Take 6, Y'all!! I'm working with Take 6 on Leigh S Robbins new CD "Full Circle". Mark Kibble of Take 6 did 2 absolutely, unbelievable vocal arrangements for Leigh on the songs "You Took Advantage Of Me" and "When I Fall In Love". I need to do rhythm section charts for these songs for our musicians to sprinkle in some instrumentation with the guys incredible voices. Below is a small sample of one of Mark's arrangements as opened in a music notation software called Sibelius. It makes my eyes cross just looking at these complex voicings. OMG Mark Kibble how do I make this simple for the musicians to read? One thing is for sure...I don't mind listening to these over and over again!!!!

Leigh S Robbins and I went to see Frozen last night at TPAC. What an absolutely amazing show!! My Berklee College roommate, Timothy W Burke has been playing lead trumpet in the orchestra for over 4 years. Even though I spent many, many hours playing in horn sections with Tim back in school, I never get tired of hearing him play. It was so great catching up with Tim and his beautiful wife Lucy. ,
