The Brink is centered around a vintage and fully restored MCI JH-542 mixing console and can accommodate all-analog tracking and mixing sessions as well as Pro Tools HD2 sessions with 32 input and 32 output channels of mastering grade converters. Analog sessions are recorded to a vintage, restored and modified 2" MCI JH-24 with 16 and 24 track headblocks. Mixes are documented to a vintage 1/2" Ampex ATR-100 that was restored and modded by Mike Spitz at ATR Services. The studio vibe is a cozy and comfortable living room atmosphere conducive to the creative flow of ideas. The easiest way to describe The Brink is that one must see it to believe it.
