Growing up I didn't like my first name. Now I'm just trying to live up to the meaning of it.

In school I done pulled up on teachers that didn't know me yet and told em "when you call roll don't say my first name. Just say David. When I graduated we had to write our names on a card for the principal to call out and I purposely left King off. My pops snapped on me bout that (I'm named after him). But that first team meeting in college when I played football for Hampton University and they heard King David Webb, everybody turned around like WTF?! 😂 Boy they ain't let me hear the end of that! I embraced the King Dave from then on.
