Community news is our focus

For those of us old enough to remember the newspapers of the 70-80s, you probably recall how they were filled with wedding and engagement announcements, school calendars and menus, honor rolls, church news, etc. Many of these items slowly disappeared from newspapers as publishers began charging for the newsprint space.

Bluebonnet News is much like your hometown newspaper, except in a digital format with no space restrictions like newsprint. There is nothing to recycle and nothing to clutter your mailbox or driveway. You can keep up with your community news wherever you have an Internet connection, and it’s free to all readers.

You can be a part of Bluebonnet News by sending in your story suggestions, letters to the editor and interesting news items. We want to publish our readers’ big life events at no charge!

We want Bluebonnet News to be your news source for ALL of Liberty County and would love to hear from you. Feel free to send an email to Editor Vanesa Brashier at [email protected].
