Really excited to be heading back to Grey Brick Studios tomorrow to record some more drum tracks for my latest music project "The Art of Making Culture" with Jack Nathan and kirKe (Kirk Eipper). We started building tracks last year and in January we recorded most of the vocals at Doc Ventura's studio "The Sound Factory". We will be doing the final tracks, mixing and mastering at Grey Brick Studios. This project is headed for an October-November release and submission to the San Diego Music Awards, Though the album/CD concept has gone by the wayside to the "single" digital release the "magic" of album cover artwork lives on! Here's the promo cover Artwork and paintings for Volume One by my old friend and talented artist Reta Rickmers who has graciously offered up her original paintings for the cover. Check back again as we'll be previewing the first song "Paradise" at the end of August!
