Good morning,
We would like to extend our deepest apologies to all families, especially our kids, for the unfortunate situation that occurred yesterday causing us not to be able to host our annual Homecoming Event.
Our staff worked very hard and spent countless hours trying to make the day a special one for our families.
We had a scheduling mishap which had our field booked and paid for October 22nd instead of the 21st. To be completely transparent, we as an organization lost our privilege to book facilities and have been relying on the school district to make all our reservations. We emailed to confirm Oct 21st in July, and assumed our contact make the changes, but complete oversight that we did not re-confirm as we got closer to the date.
To make it up to our kids, we would like to have our Homecoming celebration along with our Trunk or Treat event on Thursday, October 26th beginning at 6pm at Nichol Park. It will not erase the disappointment of the day, but we hope to show our kids and families they are celebrated and appreciated.
Again we apologize for any inconvenience this has caused and appreciate your understanding and continued support.
