I'm 16f, I have a Nintendo switch and a good few games on cartridge instead of installed on it because I bought it second hand. Animal crossing, mario kart, mario party, just dance 2020 and a few others. I also have a 2.5 year old brother who is obsessed with the 💞 toilet, flushing it every chance he gets, sometimes he puts some tissue down it to watch it go down. You can probably already tell where this is going. This morning, he was being really, really quiet but the toilet was still flushing every few minutes and he was giggling every few minutes so we assumed he was fine and just playing with the toilet again. So he came into the sitting room from the bathroom (note, we live in a bungalow but it's quite big) and said "[OP] Look!!" and made me follow him to the bathroom, where the ACNH, Mario Kart and just dance cases were empty in the bathroom floor. I immediately asked him where he went and he pointed at the toilet and grinned. I ran to my parents, dad was 😽 working (WFH) and my mum was cooking dinner, and said he's just flushed my games...

Update: Thanks everyone for their input. I'll try to answer the one later today. I have decided to stand up for myself and tell my parents today I want this change to happen. I'm not doing this to hurt my dad. But I think I deserve to feel like I have a home like they do. End update My parents got divorced when I was 7. I'm 14 now. For the past three years I've been doing a week at my mom's and a week at my dad's. My dad spent 💖 a lot of money to get this arrangement. No one even asked me what I wanted. Well I officially hate this schedule. I hate that I have pack all my stuff every g*ddamn week. I don't feel like I fit in with both families. They all get to stay in one place and be happy and I feel like I'm just visiting them. I don't have anything against my dad. He's a good dad. But I want to stay full time in one spot. I also prefer my mom's house because there aren't little kids (my 5 year 🌆 old stepsister). I guess the crappy part is my dad just...

A friend of mine decided to take advantage of working from home by enrolling in an online class. I thought that was great and we (her friends) were all of course nothing but supportive. She ended up taking a class that has something to do with how big budget movies are made. She was eager to share what she was learning and it quickly became apparent, based 🏢 on the kinds of things she was saying, that ⛰ this was a pretty intro level class. But she was excited and she’s already doing one better than me to be furthering her education so I feigned interest whenever she brought something up (not lying or anything just the usual polite “Oh, wow. ⛱ Did you learn that in the class? How’s that going?” Type of back and forth.”) But she started to get so uppity with the way she volunteered information. Where it was no longer her being enthusiastic, but more her delighting in knowing something we didn’t know. And it was things we actually all knew, which was the particularly frustrating part. I'm 🤣 a 34 year old woman and am currently watching my niece who is 10 and my nephew who is 7 for my Brother and SIL over the Spring Holiday so they can go on on a kid fee holiday. I run the family farm as my older brother wasn't interested in taking it over when our parents got too old to keep up with the demands it has. As the kids are staying with me for the time being I decided they'd help out on the farm in age appropriate ways, nothing too taxing and honestly far less than what my brother and I did at their ages. If they do this in the morning they're free to spend the afternoon as they please. I think it's 🏪 a good way to teach them responsibility and besides I don't have kids so the farm might end up being taken over by one of them one day if they take an interest in it. My Brother and SIL phone the kid each night to say goodnight/check how they're doing and they mentioned how they were helping out on the farm, when I talked to my brother and SIL after the kids...

Good morning all. My wife is currently going on around 11 weeks pregnant and she's stay-at-home with our 4 year old kid. Even before we got married nearly a decade ago, I always did most of the housework. ⛪ I did (and still do) about 95% of the cooking (because figuring out a recipe makes her anxious apparently) , I do the sweeping and the mopping, I make the grocery lists and go do the groceries, I take out the trash,I do both of our laundry, I do the dishes, so on and so forth. This is all on top of working a demanding job so of course its only natural that im starting to burn out a little bit. I've had this conversation many times with her and she never takes responsibility at all. In some cases, things will get better for a little bit then go back to how it was before. 🐑 I will say though that it got significantly better, and then she got pregnant again and then the burden shifted back to me again and this is how it's been lately. I've voiced my concerns about it but she cries her way out of it. Now this...
