Malvern Avenue is currently blocked from Convention Boulevard to Church Street as the Hot Springs Police Department and Hot Springs Fire Department assess damage to a utility pole in the 300 block of Malvern Avenue. The broken pole caused power outages to Hotel Hot Springs and the Hot Springs Convention Center, and other parts of downtown Friday.
