Pattypost- This week was so much fun.
Many people ask me, "Patty why do you teach real estate? It is so time consuming; you don't get paid even Minium wage and it takes time away from buying and selling activities which will produce income and is more important."
I was honored to meet strangers who attended class to become a Real Estate Agent. There are so many rewarding things that take place when helping others. First of all, you make a new friend! Well, hello-that is reason enough right there!
On top of that, I get more out of teaching than students do- I get to see their excitement, I get to hear their questions, I get to see a new perspective, I get to help people achieve their goal! I think we are meant to help each other, and teaching is STILL and will always be very rewarding to me, so I do it😊
I am happy to say- we have new realtors entering the industry -nothing like a Friday where you pass the Final Test! I am so proud of the victory. I find as a long-time realtor, there are many ways I can "open a door" and it is not always with a key.🔑

pattypost- Amazing to see how they figure things out and problem solve. The smaller-younger deer appear unable to leap, one ran around the long way! The other two turned around and gave up. Just to show you- some are real problem solvers while others just turn around. This is true with humans, sometimes we just need to have a little more strength to see things through to the finish line. That is one thing I love about real estate- it is full of "problem solving". Working hard to locate solutions and bring my clients to the finish line🍑

pattypost- the Virginia striped 🦨 skunk...according to Virginia Wildlife, prefer bushy fields. I too prefer that they like bushy fields and not in my yard. But...it means I have to be even more aware of them. Most everyone knows that "smell", however they do make sounds that are distinctive, they are just soft sounds. pattypost-When the garden delivers what the deer did not steal, you grab it with both hands and run! There is something so simple about tomatoes and garlic-especially when you grew them both. If your home does not have a big yard- NO Fear!
1. As a realtor, I can help you find what you are looking for ...lol, but seriously
2. As a gardener, you can grow in pots or in a small patch of earth. Do not let the idea of needing a big farm stop you. Plants are pretty tough- and most all of them taste divine!

It is SOLD- which is great, but it is also sad for me, because now the transaction is closed. They are off to Georgia to start their chapter! So this means I am now going to have to visit Georgia!🍑

pattypost--so happy to have reached this stage of my garden. My dirt dedication and time planting with my heart has created rewards. Sometimes you have to have lots of patience, but I believe hard work always pays for itself no matter how you apply it. As a Realtor, I enjoy the results of my work seen on the faces of my clients.
And oh, Baby Baby...it is such a great feeling.
