SHIFTER recently attended the Day 1/Show 1 at New York Fashion Week.

"GFC is a Vancouver-based organization that offers a more accessible platform for lesser known designers to show off their collections during fashion week and gain the international exposure that would otherwise be elusive this time of year in the North American fashion capital. Known for elevating diverse perspectives and honoring authenticity, GFC is leaving a mark on the fashion space. This year is proving to be no exception."

The first official runway featured five collections from designers: (Mexico), (Japan), (Argentina), (United States), and (South Korea).

FIFA is reportedly considering moving World Cup games from the United States to Canada due to America's immigration policies with citizens of up to 43 countries banned from entering the United States. The U.S immigration policies could not affect athletes, but fans, media, and support staff who are said to be having trouble securing entry into the United Statea.
