A Texas appeals court has ruled that Uvalde County and the Uvalde Consolidated Independent School District must release long-withheld public records related to the 2022 mass shooting at Robb Elementary School.

The ruling comes more than three years after a gunman killed 19 children and two teachers in one of the deadliest school shootings in U.S. history.

Connie Francis, the wholesome pop star of the 1950s and 1960s whose hits include "Pretty Little Baby" and who would later serve as an ironic title for a personal life filled with heartbreak and tragedy, has died at age 87.

Francis was a top performer of the pre-Beatles era, rarely off the charts from 1957-64.
