Classic Country Saturday Night A locally syndicated radio show that is music intensive spanning over five decades of classic country music. Faith and Patriotism are core values.

Spotlight features include artist interviews, historical milestones, and current events in country music. I have been a fan of country music since I began a radio career back in 1986. However, it went back further than that when I remember listening to country radio as a child and playing with the record player pretending to be a DJ. I am currently a real estate agent and feed my passion on the weekends. I am married to a wonderful wife, Bethany, and have a son, Austin.

Oh, what it would be like to broadcast my Classic Country Radio Show from the big WSM in Nashville, just steps from the Grand Ole Opry .
I would definitely be broadcasting on sacred ground.

Caught the Grand Ole Opry Thursday Night Country Classics with my good friends, Allen Alsbrooks and Margaret McCann. What a treat! I really enjoyed the classic country theme throughout the night. Even the Opry debut of Elmo and Abby performing with Lauren Alaina and Tayla Lynn, other stand out performances featured Wade Hayes, Neal McCoy, the Gatlins, Ricky Skaggs playing his early country songs, Ben Haggard channeling his father Merle, Twitty & Lynn, and more. What a great show.

I have to give big props to my friend, Allen Alsbrooks, for being so good to me on my trip here to Nashville.

It was the most incredible experience to attend Jeannie Seely's 5,398th and final show. It was a tribute show befitting "Ms. Country Soul" at the Grand Ole Opry. I owe a huge debt of gratitude to Ron Harman for inviting me to attend the show in such a grand way. I had the thrill and opportunity to meet with so many of the artists and performers I have showcased on my Classic Country Saturday Night show, so many... Happy Birthday today to the great Connie Smith today, the longest living female member of the Grand Ole Opry . It was a thrill to meet Connie Smith backstage with my wife Bethany Russell Briggs Baker at the Opry during our Classic Country Fan Trip To Nashville last year. We were definitely in the presence of classic country royalty.
