Two Montgomery County employees show signs of fentanyl poisoning after touching flyer woman hands to them in library parking lot

Tuesday at about 2:25 p.m., Montgomery County Constable Precinct 4 Deputies responded to an incident at RB Tullis Library, located at 21569 US Highway 59 in New Caney, Montgomery County.

Two Montgomery County employees reported being approached by a female in the library parking lot, who handed them a flyer, which they observed to be damp and have a pink tint.

Approximately thirty minutes later, both employees began experiencing symptoms including shaky hands, dizziness, and hot flashes. They promptly brought the flyer to the Precinct 4 Office for examination. After interviewing the victims, Deputies initiated an investigation. The Precinct 4 Evidence Technician conducted a thorough analysis of the flyer, which tested positive for the presence of fentanyl. This investigation remains ongoing, and updates will be provided as further information becomes available or if any suspects are apprehended.
