In Clay, NY, I am listening to and recording the public hearing as the Onondaga County IDA is supposed to listen to the public's opinion on their attempt to seize a 91-year-old woman's home via eminent domain.

The IDA wasn't there, but the room was filled with supporters of the homeowner.

They did, however, send lawyers.

This is the current (for now) Village of Cobleskill, New York Mayor Rebecca Stanton-Terk.

She believes the public has only two jobs: to pay your water bills and to pay your taxes.

Tonight, at 7 pm, there is a public hearing at the Firehouse - 610 E. Main Street, Cobleskill, NY.

This hearing is to pass a town ordinance that requires an appointment to enter a public building, and not having an appointment allows them to attempt to trespass you.

It also prohibits audio and video recording without the consent of every person in the recording.

I would provide the link to the resolution here, but they had to remove it from the county website once people saw the numerous grammatical and formatting errors.

We also say 'for now' mayor, since she lost the election earlier this month.

Act Now Media, Inc. will be live-streaming the hearing tonight, and I look forward to seeing Rebecca off the public dole.

She can now be a part of the general public she hates so much.

Elected officials use a manipulative, gaslighting-style strategy by allowing unelected bureaucrats or attorneys to handle damage control and take on the politically messy work for them.

Departments such as building and code enforcement, police, permitting, legal, and even finance can be used as convenient scapegoats to advance the agendas of elected officials while insulating those officials from public backlash.

Since elected officials want to protect their
chances of re-election, they may try to play both sides Publicly distancing themselves from controversial decisions while privately relying on staff whose jobs and budgets they ultimately control.

This is why it’s important for the public to hold both elected officials and the bureaucratic systems they oversee accountable. Encouraging transparency, questioning decisions, and ensuring clear lines of responsibility can help prevent misuse of power and improve government accountability.

The OCIDA is having a public hearing on whether or not they should eminent domain a 91 year olds property, voiding a contract they signed. Why? To help Micron build their shrine to corporate welfare.

I’ll be there, Act Now Media, Inc. will be live streaming it.

If you are in the area, please come tell these people as bluntly as possible, no.

In the Village of Fonda, New York, Mayor William Peeler grabbed a camera from a journalist who was investigating whether the village hall had a “no recording” sign in a public office.

He was charged with harassment and issued a court date in Mohawk Town Court.

Since then, the village has locked down the building to the public, except for a small lobby, and is now attempting to pass a law that would require the town to fund legal fees for employees and officials involved in lawsuits.

A public hearing is scheduled for December 8, 2025, and I look forward to attending and giving them a piece of my mind.

🚨 Town of Fonda

Two weeks after their Mayor, William Peeler got arrested for putting his hands on a journalist, the Town of Fonda wants to pass a law that the town will cover their legal fees for certain lawsuits.

I’m going Monday to ask if being a grabby sh*tbag is in the course of their duties.

The real winner of last night’s election?

Central Bureaucracy.

Bigger budgets, more departments, and a fresh set of nepotism hires.

The losers? The taxpayers who are still footing the bill for their own defeat.

City of Niagara Falls needs help.

With one of the most spectacular views and waterfalls in the world, you would hope Niagara Falls, NY would be a tourist destination and thrive. Unfortunately, the median household income and per capita income lag behind the rest of the county.

The poverty rate, and unemployment rates are higher than the rest of the area.

The only people benefiting in Niagara Falls are the corrupt, power hungry machine using the taxpayers as an ATM for their benefit.

Vote Vincent Cauley

For City of Niagara Falls council.
