Zion Forever Project Video: Final Draft Update

I’m excited to announce that the final draft of the Zion Forever Project video is complete! After weeks of filming, editing, and refining, we have an impactful story about Zion National Park’s vital conservation efforts. This has been a rewarding journey, bringing together 13 stages of content into one unified piece.
One of the most significant takeaways from this experience has been learning how to manage a large-scale project, balancing creativity with brand consistency.
Editing and color grading were a time-intensive process. Balancing hours of editing raw footage, organizing timelines, and adjusting color tones to match Zion’s natural beauty took incredible attention to detail.
This final draft represents not just the incredible work being done at Zion, but also the power of collaboration and the impact of sharing these stories with a broader audience. Thank you to everyone who followed along throughout this journey. The final official release will be soon! 🌟🎥

Project Update: 80% Complete!

We’re thrilled to share that our work with the Zion Forever Project is now 80% complete! As we dive into stage 10 of 13.

We’re excited to be crafting a compilation video for social media, combining the best moments from the 2024 Field Guide videos. This single video will highlight the goals/projects of the Zion Forever Project, offering a powerful overview of their conservation efforts, community engagement, and the incredible work being done to preserve our parks for generations to come.

Editing has been intense! We’ve spent countless hours reviewing and cutting footage to ensure every moment aligns with the story we’re telling.
The creative process has been a rewarding challenge as we aim to pick and choose what shots should make it into the final piece.

The final stages are just around the corner, and we can’t wait to share this inspiring project with you. 🌄🎥

We’ve worked closely with the Zion Forever Project to bring their 2024 Field Guide to life through video.
Behind the Scenes: Filming at the search and rescue building provided a unique opportunity to capture the dedication and skill of Zion’s rescue teams. We filmed equipment, captured team interactions, and highlighted the strategic preparations that allow these teams to respond quickly in challenging environments.
Current Stage: We’re currently at stage 8 of 13, combining key footage into one cohesive, long-format video that tells the complete story of Zion Forever Project’s conservation work. The latest addition is the search and rescue segment.
Collaboration with Zion’s Team – Working with Zion Forever Project’s team has been incredibly rewarding. Their insights into the park’s conservation initiatives have enriched the story we’re telling. Their support has also streamlined our access to key filming locations, which has been invaluable for authenticity and scope.
Overcoming Challenges: Filming on location in Zion has presented challenges, from navigating rugged terrain to securing key interviews with conservation and search and rescue staff, each vital to telling their story. In post-production, blending each stage seamlessly required precise editing, using Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects to ensure the video flows cohesively. Despite these challenges, the project is coming together beautifully. 🌄🎥✨
