OUR GOAL IS TO BRING EMERGING ARTISTS TO CAMPUS AT 3300 UNIVERSITY BOULEVARD IN WINTER PARK, FLORIDA, AND PROPEL THEM INTO A PROFESSIONAL MUSIC CAREER. BY COMBINING ALL OF THE PROFESSIONAL RESOURCES AT OUR FINGERTIPS, INCLUDING RECORDING STUDIOS, LIVE PERFORMANCE VENUES, INDUSTRY EXPERTS, AND BUSINESS-MINDED STUDENTS EAGER TO MAKE AN IMPACT IN THE MUSIC INDUSTRY, WE AIM TO DEVELOP THESE ARTISTS TO THE POINT WHERE THEY CAN CLIMB THE CHARTS TO SUCCESS IN TODAY'S MUSIC BUSINESS.

🎤 ARTIST SPOTLIGHT

Featuring Brett Davis

Inspired by multi-instrumentalists and performances that focus on creating something musically new every time, Brett is drawn to the moments where the music itself takes center stage. Rather than relying on large choreographed productions, they find something special in the creativity and musicianship that happens through a live performance.

His sound? Old.

What keeps them creating? Simply playing, and hopefully creating music that means something to themselves and others.

“I just like playing I suppose, and I hope to create music that means something to myself and others.”

We’re excited to continue our Artist Spotlight series and share a little more about the artists behind the performances at The Social Scene. 🩵

ARTIST SPOTLIGHT 🎤

Introducing our first Artist Spotlight, featuring Luc👣

Inspired by the people in the room, Lucas brings the same energy to every performance, whether he’s performing for one person or a thousand. For him, the audience is part of what motivates him to give the best show possible.

Rather than being defined by one genre, his sound is rooted in his voice. Through recurring vocal techniques and styles across his music, he creates something recognizable while still exploring different genres, and styles.

His goal? To make music for everyone.
“If you hear a couple of my songs, I promise that at least one of them is for you.”

We were excited to have Lucas as part of The Social Scene line-up and to kick off our new Artist Spotlight series by sharing a little more about the artists behind the performances. 🩵

Last week, artists, creatives, and music lovers came together for an evening of live performances, new connections, and good energy.

From the stage to the conversations happening around the room, The Social Scene is about bringing people together and creating space for the community to connect.
