This was my first ever Song - Along with Mr Zal and it was amazing! I enjoyed engaging with the kids and families by singing some traditional nursery rhymes. The City of Urbana has been awarded a grant from the African American Mayors Association (AAMA) to launch the Mayor Williams Financial Literacy Program—a free, online series designed for Urbana residents ages 21–64.

With support from the Sootchy Charitable Foundation, the program offers six self-paced, interactive topics on budgeting, credit, debt reduction, and planning for the future. Participants who complete all sessions will earn a certificate of completion and be recognized at a ceremony with the City.

Program Highlights:
• In-person kickoff with Mayor DeShawn Williams
• Six online, mobile-friendly topics
• Free for Urbana residents ages 21–64
• Recognition Ceremony and certificate
