Just had my first run on my recently upgraded console/stagebox. A month ago we upgraded from Midas M32R and DL16s to A&H QU5-D and AR2412. Things and reasons this is an upgrade. First I love the workflow! Second if not also a first I love having a touch screen. Onboard 16x16 Dante makes interfacing Shure wireless easy and can do 96k when running AXient! Oh 96k FPGA processing perhaps the reason everything sounds so amazing since the entire signal chain is phase coherent. There really is way too much to list why this was an upgrade for me! The console is super flexible and my first run on it was stellar!.. oh loved the FBAEQ, super precise and fast!

Its officially a family affair sacramento 5k. Now that the dust settled making some posts of recent events. This one is an annual event for us that brought a new challenge this year so we provided solutions. Each year there has been a delay speaker 200ft away at the start/finish line and we traditionally run power and signal across the grass to. This year the start and finish lines were separated and the start line was ~325ft away and crossed a paved walkway/road and the finish remained at 200ft across grass. Rather than run all that cable and lay cable ramps for the start line speaker we invested in a AC200L power bank which provided local power to that speaker. To further void laying signal cable across the walkway We had the distinct pleasure of utilizing the newly released adpsm. We sent a mono feed to the transmitter and set the receivers to mono. The adpsm threw wireless sound to both delay speakers with ease and without a single glitch. It was a great turnout and .estes did some MC work while the kids participated in their first 5k event. A recent setup/teardown movie night project for that brought some challenges and obstacles. First it needed to be easy and fast setup but mobile. For that I relied on for a custom projector totem. The screen is a C screen which gets hung and removed each night from custom brackets over the water feature. Next due to the speaker placement the audio needed to be wireless. For that the streaming movie comes out of a Roku 4k express hdmi into an oceanmatrix audio extractor into an stereo RF transmitter. The speakers are slim and perfect size for the space IP500 and each have their own receiver mounted on them for audio. This project turned out great and I am thankful for the opportunity as well as overcoming the challenges. You can catch movie nights on Mondays and Tuesdays starting April 14 at 7:30p at .

It doesnt happen often but when its a hometown event its fun to tackle it together. Enjoyed working with .estes for the providing audio for an annual comedy night fundraiser. We were so focused didnt get many photos. But Cookie was able to catch us hard at work :-)

A lot of hard work went into a very successful event weekend Mare Island. 3 stages …Make Live streaming with over 1300 viewers a day. EepyBird on Diet Coke Mentos stage and and Crunch Labs with and on Foundry stage. Could not have done it without an amazing crew banghart special thanks to .estes
